Around the world there is a growing movement of people who believe that water is a human right, that corporate profiteering is destroying this increasingly scarce resource, that water belongs in the hands of the people and not lining in the pockets of third party executives. These are the new water warriors, the future of the movement for global water justice. Their time is now. Their goal is to guarantee the human right to water across the globe. The water warriors continue to raise awareness about water scarcity, help those who's water rights are threatened and encourage public involvement in local water policy.
