I'm not sure what to say about my role in all of this. Why am I interested in making people more aware of the global water crisis and global water justice?

Maybe it's because I loved swimming as a child, or because so much of where I grew up is slowly being swallowed up the advancing shoreline of Devils Lake or because I'm a Pisces. Whatever the case, the issue of water scarcity feels deeply personal, despite my inability to pin down why exactly that is.
